The Grand Hotel Quisisana exceptional location for "A Simpe Favor 2." Filming of the Italian wedding of the sequel to Paul Feig's film recently concluded at the most iconic location on the azure island, the Grand Hotel Quisisana. The luxury and sophistication of the Victorian-style surroundings were, in fact, the director's choice to shoot the scenes of the eccentric wedding ceremony, not without twists and turns, between international star Blake Lively and Italian actor Michele Morrone.

A breathtaking view of the Faraglioni, an elegant and exclusive setting in full Capri style literally made the director and cast fall in love with this unique location. The Quisisana is, therefore, once again the choice of international cinematography.

"A Simple Favor 2," produced by Amazon MGM Studios, a sequel to the acclaimed 2018 film starring Pitch Perfect and Gossip Girl stars Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively.
This is not the first time the Grand Hotel Quisisana has been chosen as a set and location to shoot scenes for films signed by well-known directors and producers. Just to mention the latest, last summer the Quisisana hosted the cast of some scenes of the film written and directed by Paolo Sorrentino.

The hotel thus hosted for twelve days, actors, director and stars of the cast, opening exclusively for them, in advance of the seasonal opening.

The comedy/thriller "A Simple Favor 2" is a story full of twists and intrigue amid the elegant surroundings and breathtaking views of the Quisisana. Actresses Anna Kendrick and Blake Lively, in the roles of Stephanie Smothers and Emily Nelson, star in the film shot on the island. Alongside them is an outstanding cast consisting of Henry Golding, Andrew Rannells, Bashir Salahuddin, Joshua Satine, Ian Ho and Kelly McCormack. Two Italian names also join this explosive cast: Michele Morrone and Elena Sofia Ricci.

The 80 or so cast members thus worked and stayed in Capri's most famous and magical five-star location, a destination for decades for artists, personalities and heads of state from all over the world, fully immersing themselves in the atmosphere of the set and enjoying the tranquility that the hotel and the island of Capri offer.  We just have to wait for the release date, on Prime Video, of "A Simple Favor 2" scheduled for 2025, a must-see for movie lovers and anyone who wants to experience the magical atmosphere of Capri and the Quisisana.
