Location

The island of Capri can be reached by hydrofoil from Naples, Sorrento and, during the peak summer months, Positano. On their arrival at Capri harbour, guests are greeted by a hotel representative and taken by taxi up the hill to Piazza Umberto. From here, the hotel is approximately a 3 minute walk away.

Transportation

Because the town of Capri is a traffic-free zone, guests will need to walk to the hotel from the main taxi stand close to the funicular railway station. For a small charge, the hotel will provide a luggage transportation service from the port direct to the hotel. Contact the hotel representative at the port and they will take care of your luggage and ensure that it is sent to the hotel for you.
Those guests planning to bring their car to Capri are strongly advised to contact the ferry companies prior to departure as restrictions may apply.

Climate

The climate of Capri is typically Mediterranean. Average temperatures vary from 10 °C in February - the coldest month - to 28 °C in August. The milder spring and autumn seasons are, perhaps, the best times to visit the island.
